Jorge A. Consunji Receives Recognition for his Father from the Management Association of the Philippines

& CEO, Mr. Jorge A. Consunji received the medallion and sash for DMCI
Founder David M. Consunji from the Management Association of the Philippines in
a tribute to all the MAP Management Man of the Year Awardees over the years. The
event was held last June 18 at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.
For the first time, MAP gathered together
all the awardees of this prestigious award as a tribute to their
accomplishments and contributions to leadership and management. It coincided
with the organization’s benefit concert entitled “A Concert with a Flavor of
Vienna”. The event showcased the musical prowess of the Manila Symphony
Orchesta, along with notable Filipino tenors and sopranos. Proceeds from the
concert will support the CSR programs of the MAP.
Over the years, recipients of the MAP
Management Man of the Year Award have helped mold the way businesses are operating
in the country as they have served as inspiration and role models for Filipino managers.
David M. Consunji was MAP Management Man of the Year in 1996, and his
contributions in the construction industry has been impactful. He helped mold
the industry as it is now, pursuing practice in the field of construction with
integrity and passion.
